Captain and Owner Representative of the 64-meter M/Y Magna Grecia, I am confident in

During my tenure with M/Y Magna Grecia from January 2014 to May 2024, I oversaw
the daily operations and maintenance of the vessel, ensuring all systems functioned
efficiently and safely. I led and managed a team of engineers and crew members,
providing training and guidance to maintain high performance standards. My proactive
approach involved conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive
maintenance to minimize downtime and technical issues. I implemented and monitored
safety protocols to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and
standards. Collaboration with other departments and stakeholders was a key aspect of my
role, planning and executing voyages, including navigation, fuel management, and
logistics. My management of budgeting and resource allocation optimized operational
costs and ensured financial efficiency.
One of my significant achievements was managing the refit, rebuild, and extension of
Magna Grecia to 64 meters. I oversaw all aspects of the project and acted as the legal
representative, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and standards. I also
directed the operational management of a 20-member crew, maintaining high standards
of performance and safety, handling flag, class, and insurance requirements, and
managing all accounting tasks. I successfully planned and executed seasonal voyages,
including winter trips to Norway, summer seasons in the Mediterranean, and Christmas
seasons in the UAE – Maldives. My efforts ensured seamless coordination between various
stakeholders, including agencies and crew members, thereby providing exceptional
